SCSC CruiseSUNDAY AFTERNOONSFor those of you who want to Sail & Meet Up - In conjunction with the St. Croix Navy maneuvers (1 to 2 PM), we will raft together for potluck, and swimming, somewhere on the WI. south of the 94 Bridge, or if the weather dictates, north of the Hudson (Railroad) Turn bridge. Sail before 2 or 3 PM, then join us, until early evening. Check out the calendar for St Croix Navy dates.BEERCAN RACES"50% of the fun is leaving work early with a change of clothes, 20% is the race, and 30% is telling lies after, over a drink." (B. Foster)The only pre-qualification is to have an open can of beer or other beverage onboard. - Many have stretched this, loosely substituting an open wine bottle. We will have a party after each Beercan Race, either at "The Point", or on the water near the "Y-camp". The races are scheduled. There are 5 of them remaining (see calendar on events page). We have reserved "The Point" for each of those Fridays and look forward to some great parties. We invite you to host or co-host one to these parties. If you would like to sponsor a party, either on the Point or somewhere on the water (Club funds available), let me know. Upcoming on Aug. 6th, B.J. & the Crew of Merlin will host the Apre's B.C. Party @ the Point, and on Aug. 20th, Moby & Crew will host a party on the river celebrating the heat of summer.

Apostle Islands Cruise Aug 12-16Currently we have reserved 1 charter boat, and have 4 others that are planning to meet us up there. We are planning our 1st night out on the town of Bayfield, before venturing off into the ‘Islands’. Another chartered boat may be in the works, so if you have any interest there may still be an opportunity to join us. Every time I sail in the Apostle Islands we all want to stay longer. We are extending this to 4 days, or at least offering the option. It is always an adventure that I look forward to. Story-telling, music playing, and good food & drink with friends shared. It doesn't get much better. Join us for a memorable time. Prescott CruiseSep 25th- 26th - Every year the Club puts on the two-day Commodore's Cup Race/Cruise to Prescott and back. It is always fun, and this year I would like to get all of us Cruisers out there for one last party and a beautiful outing down in Prescott. We will work on the details in the mean time.
