I just moved to SE suburbs this spring from Chicago.  I'm 31, ~200 lbs, and 6ft.  I competitively sailed on a T-10 for 6 years, anywhere between 18-24 races a year, some with well over 100 entrants, and a regatta in Charleston, SC.  I've also competed in the Race to Mackinac 3 times.  I have experience trimming main, jib, foredeck, pit, and even movable ballast.  Mostly available for weekends, but occasionally during the week.

I live in Hudson and can come down to fill in on short notice.  I would like to sail on as many boats as possible.  My hope in 2008 is to fill in as crew when boats are short handed on Tuesday night races.  I will be racing my on Ranger 23 for Fun races.  I have experience with all positions.  I am 6ft. 2 in. at 235 lb. and move well.  I don’t mind a little screaming, and always push to be as useful as possible.

I have two seasons experience on a 26 foot Columbia three nights a week as the spinnakar trimmer on Lake St. Clair (Near Detroit, MI). Then I moved to Madison Wisconsin for grad school where I learned to skipper and race a Badger Tech at Hoofers Sail Club. During the three years I lived in Madison I raced on a 30 foot GNS twice a week as well as a 26 Foot Colgate as mainly the spinnaker trimmer. I raced occasionally on an E Scow as well, once as foredeck. I also took lessons on small boats such as Lasers and 420s. My husband and I did much of these races together and would like to continue as a pair if possible. He enjoys foredeck and I enjoy trimming the spinnaker, but we are both versatile. We also sailed on a 3 day trip from Mackinac Island down to Chicago with three other people to help move a race boat back to port a couple of summers ago.

I use to crew a few years ago I would like to get back into it again. I will do what ever is needed. sail trimmer grinder, ballast. Could use some training on the foredeck but can do it.

Some sailing experience. Carribean sailing trip and numerous sailing outings on the St Croix. No racing experience, but a burning interest to do so!

Just started sailing this past summer (novice), and really would like to get into racing and gain as much knowledge as possible. I would prefer movable ballast at first but am not afraid to get my feet wet.
